HOW IT WORKS

From brief to building.
In 2–4 weeks.

We handle the entire sourcing, vetting, and onboarding process. You interview pre-qualified engineers and start shipping — fast.

THE PROCESS

Six steps. One engineer. Zero friction.

Every BridgeBuddy engagement follows this battle-tested process — refined across eSkuad, LathroPC, Mobki, and every Tampa Bay client we’ve served.

01
Day 1

Discovery Call

We learn your stack, team structure, timezone needs, and the specific role you’re filling. One 30‑minute call is all it takes to define the brief.

02
Days 1–2

Role Definition

We translate your brief into a precise engineer profile: seniority level, tech stack, soft skills, and engagement model (remote vs. relocation).

03
Days 3–7

Pre‑vetted Shortlist

From our curated network of Chilean engineers, we deliver a shortlist of 3–5 profiles. Technical screening and English assessment already done.

04
Days 8–12

Your Interviews

You run your own technical and culture-fit interviews. We coordinate scheduling, prepare the candidates, and gather feedback after each session.

05
Days 13–15

Offer & Onboarding

We handle the offer, contractor agreement, and NDA. Equipment setup, tool access, and timezone-synced standup cadence are all confirmed before Day 1.

06
Week 3–4

Engineer Integrated

Your engineer is shipping code in your repos, attending your standups, and operating as a seamless extension of your team — from Chile, or from your Tampa office.

FAQ

Questions we hear every time

Most placements are completed in 2–4 weeks from Discovery Call to Day 1. Timeline depends on role complexity and how quickly you complete interviews. We’ve placed engineers in as fast as 10 days.

We offer a 60‑day replacement guarantee. If the engineer isn’t the right fit within the first two months, we find a replacement at no additional placement cost. Your team’s velocity is our responsibility.

No. There is no cost until you sign the engagement agreement. The entire process — discovery, vetting, shortlisting, and interviews — is conducted before any payment obligation.

Yes. Chile operates at GMT‑4, which is the same as Eastern Standard Time in the U.S. (during standard time). Your engineers start their day when your Tampa team does — no 6am standups, no async-only collaboration.

BridgeBuddy handles all of it. You pay one monthly invoice. We handle Chilean payroll, social security contributions, contractor agreements, NDAs, IP assignment, and any local compliance requirements. Your finance team signs one contract, not fifty.

Absolutely. This is one of BridgeBuddy’s strongest differentiators. Chile’s exclusive H‑1B1 visa quota means your remote engineer can transition to your Tampa office without entering an H‑1B lottery. We manage the entire relocation process.
